The Summits will feature guest speakers, event and artist advice, live performances and networking opportunities.

Funded by the Office for Youth and managed by The Push, the Summits will provide valuable information to young people on engaging with the community and creating their own cultural events.

Featuring local band Dash & Will, renowned local songwriter and musician, Charles Jenkins and producer, engineer and mixer Jimi Maroudas.

Andrew Kitchen, from The Push discusses hot topics from the 2008 Face The Music Conference, including tips on record deals, management, getting your music on radio, promotions and touring.

Plus representatives from the Office for Youth, FReeZA and APRA, will be talking about a range of issues on staging your own events, from licensing requirements, to setting up a PA.

Everything from hip hop battles, skate competitions, community and film festivals, fashion shows, new year's and rock climbing events, and even a claymation camp will be discussed!
