Bizet's The Pearlfishers returns to Melbourne in the sumptuous production directed by Ann-Margret Pettersson. Henry Choo and Luke Gabbedy will make their vow of eternal friendship with the famous "In the depths of the temple" duet, while Emma Matthews, as the impossibly beautiful Leila, will break it. Young Australian Ollivier-Philippe Cuneo conducts Bizet's exotic score. This production is designed by John Conklin, Clare Mitchell and Nigel Levings.
