The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, will bring its unforgettable colour drenched fun to Wollongong on Sunday, 24 May 2015.
A kaleidoscope of colour will hit Stuart Park, with participants of all ages and fitness levels set to take on the five kilometre course and run through an incredible range of colour zones.
All about celebrating happiness, health and individuality, The Color Run has introduced a -Wollongong Wicked Wigs' theme this year, partnering with local suppliers to provide a range of colourful wigs for participants to don on the day.
There will be a wide range of pre run entertainment from 6:30am to get participants truly energised, including a mass Zumba class for moving and shaking before the big event.
Starting at 8:00am, the run will take thousands of people along the coast through Flagstaff Hill Park and WA Lang park where everyone is encouraged to show off their dance moves while walking, running, skipping or even rolling!
The fun will continue after the run at the unforgettable Finish Festival party, with great tunes, dancing, and even more colour throws to celebrate.
It is the second time the seaside city has hosted the event, with The Color Run National Race Director, Woody Sedgman thrilled to bring it all back again to Wollongong locals.
