Australia's largest and longest-running wine tourism event, The Barossa Vintage Festival, is shaping up to be one of the best yet, with locals and visitors alike anticipating a range of events and activities for the whole family over the Easter long weekend from April 23 to May 1, 2011.

Traditionally celebrating the end of the grape harvest, the Festival has come a long way since its humble beginnings back in 1947 and this year the biennial event will take to the picturesque village greens, streets, parks and vineyards as well as some of the most renowned wineries of the Barossa Valley.
