George Ogilvie and Peggy van Praagh's Coppélia - This delightful ballet tells the story of Dr Coppelius, an eccentric toymaker, who attempts to bring life to his beautiful doll Coppélia. He is foiled by the mischievous Swanilda, who masquerades as Coppélia and saves her love, Franz, from the Doctor's magic.

Maina Gielgud's production of Giselle - Maina Gielgud's much-loved and extraordinarily beautiful production of Giselle has been acclaimed by audiences throughout the world. Giselle, a simple country girl, falls in love with Albrecht, a disguised prince who visits her village. The prince is betrothed to another and the deception leads Giselle to die of a broken heart. This acclaimed production features the magical partnership of Christine Walsh and Kelvin Coe, two of Australia's greatest stars.

Maina Gielgud's production of The Sleeping Beauty - This ballet is the magical tale of the beautiful Princess Aurora, condemned to sleep for one hundred years under a spell from the wicked Fairy Carabosse. She is awakened by a kiss from Prince Florimund, and there follows a joyous wedding celebration.

Graeme Murphy's production of Nutcracker - In a stunning departure from tradition, Graeme Murphy transforms Nutcracker into a production which is uniquely Australian. The ballet is the story of Clara, once a famous Russian ballerina, who first came to Australia in the 1940s. It chronicles her turbulent, nomadic life; and is a moving tribute to all of the dedicated artists who forged the ballet tradition in this country.
