A specially erected marquee on the lawn of Jupiters will hold stalls from 12 local restaurateurs including Essence Restaurant, Watermark, The Gaff and Coffee Club the Strand each offering two degustation sized dishes of fabulous North Queensland produce to sample.

The Jupiters Pavilion will house a wide array of winemakers who will be offering guests complementary samples and giving wine tasting advice including Kalleske Wines, Crabtree Wines and Punters Corner.

Local food and wine lovers will be invited to purchase a ticket for $75 which gives them unlimited food and wine for the afternoon so they can eat and drink to their hearts delight.

There will also be an outdoor seating area where guests can relax and enjoy their food and wine while listening to a series of musical acts from a traditional string quartet to some more modern arrangements.

MC for the event will be John Lazarou, one of the most well-known faces in Australia's coffee and franchising industries for his work as marketing director for The Coffee Club.

Yvette Braithwaite-Bragg, general manager of the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, explains: "Following on from the success of our Chefs in the North event which is held in July, we decided to trial this new format of a more relaxed food and wine experience. There is no other event like it in the region, so we are expecting a good turnout of over 1,500 local foodies."

This is an over 18 event.
