Entries are now open for Sydney's ultimate sporting weekend and thousands are again expected to join in The Sydney Morning Herald Sun Run and The Sydney Morning Herald Cole Classic on Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2, 2014, respectively.

The popular, family-friendly events invite participants of all levels to take part in a fun-filled weekend featuring the Dee Why to Manly Sun Run - an event which boasts a new 10km course on top of its existing 6.7km course, showcasing the best of Sydney's Northern Beaches – and one of Australia's largest ocean swims, the iconic Cole Classic with 1km, 2km and 9km swims.

Participants are encouraged to raise much-needed funds for more than 800 charities across Australia, including the Dee Why and Manly Surf Life Saving Clubs – with the fundraising target set this year at $200,000.
