Reg Trewin is thrilled to have been officially recognised as the oldest competitor in next month's 2009 Sydney World Masters Games, Reg won't be sitting in the stands (with or without rug) watching on. He'll be taking to the Bowling Green in the 60 and over Mixed Pairs category with his newfound partner, 63 year old Helene Harris... and Reg thinks they're in with a good chance of bringing home a medal!

Double Drummer (DD) is supporting Reg Trewin. DD is an online community of active people tasked with helping Games entrants to find playing partners or team members so that they can participate in the world's largest multi-sports event. Around 30,000 athletes over the age of 30 from all around the world will meet in Sydney from October 10 to 18 to compete in 28 separate sports. So far DD has matched around 250 competitors with partners.
