Kids in the Park

The action-packed school holiday program of more than 55 activities, includes six new options and many FREE and good-value activities for under $20 to suit children of all ages. Whether kids are interested in adventurous and sporty activities or prefer creative and nature-loving pursuits, they're sure to warm up this winter with loads of entertainment at Sydney Olympic Park these holidays.

Creative kids will be able to let their imaginations run wild with a range of activities, including three new options. Solarus in Space will see kids get hands-on in a sci-fi show like no other for FREE from 30 June – 4 July and 7 – 11 July. Other new activities for creative children include Disney On Ice Presents Treasure Trove (9-13 July for $25.50 per child) and the half-day Writing for Performance workshop on 12 July for $75 per child.

Budding artists will love Kids on Canvas where they can learn to create their very own masterpiece with techniques and skills taught from a professional artist (3 July -Monsters on canvas' and 10 July -Movie characters on canvas', $45 BYO Materials or add $10 for equipment hire).

The adventurous will get their hearts racing with a range of activities to suit all ages, including the new Lodge Winter Wonderland Residential and Day Camps (various dates and prices), as well as Fizzics Education – Catapult Making, which will see kids get their hands dirty using craft materials to launch their very own catapult (2 July for $25 per child). The popular adrenalin-filled aerial attraction, Urban Jungle Adventure Park will also be open daily for $35 per child or adult, including entry to the Aquatic Centre.

Sporty kids will be spoilt for choice with more than 25 energy-burning activities to keep them busy throughout the school break, including an AFL Clinic at Tom Wills Oval (home of the GWS Giants) for just $5 per child, Martial Arts for Kids (30 June – 3 July for $29 per child) and FREE Bike Trails for kids to choose their own adventure and explore the Park (daily, bike hire available). Kids can also get loud with two hours of hyperactive drumming fun at DrumzBuzz at Newington Armory from 5-11 July ($19 per child).

Kids on Target and Little Archers will be held daily at the Archery Centre for just $16 per child. Other activities for sporty-active kids include Cheer and Dance (8-10 July for $29 per child), Disc Golf at Newington Armory (daily for FREE with a $5 refundable deposit), Circus Skills (30 June – 4 July and 7-11 July for $25 per child) and much more!

Nature-lovers will enoy the fresh-air and sights with Walking Safaris around the Park (daily, FREE) or a visit to the BirdLife Discovery Centre at Newington Armory (Weekends, FREE).

All this adds up to make Kids in the Park at Sydney Olympic Park the official home of the BIGGEST range of school holidays activities of any location in NSW.
