The Key Note Speaker for their 9th Film Festival is: Producer Philip Hearnshaw, whose credits include Happy Feet (2006) and Babe (1995) as Associate Producer. This will be a fantastic opportunity for students and their guests to get an insight into two of the most successful Australians films in recent times, and how they can follow in the footsteps of such a successful creative career.

Awards Night is the culmination of 2 days of screenings, where students and graduates will be recognised amid their peers in a post screening award presentation, with Awards including Best Drama and Best Documentary, to name a few. Each category is judged by the teaching staff and outside industry professionals particular to each discipline. Each festival, students also have the chance to win the prestigious Chairman's Award with a cash prize of $5000, for outstanding filmmaking.
