The bear in question is not Yogi or boo-Boo, a panda or a polar bear, nor a koala. He's bigger than a brontosaurus and pine trees grow on his back; yet he's cuddlier than a new puppy. Six year old Sophie thinks he's adorable, but her older brother Jonathan is scared- after all it's his fault they are lost in the forbidden forest. This charming Nordic tale is populated with wonderful characters and is beautifully animated in a style reminiscent of Hayao Miyazaki's eco fairy tale Princess Mononoke.

It's difficult to tell how old a turtle is; after all they're pretty wrinkly to start with. At the beginning of this animated tale, Sammy the green sea turtle is kind of retired, living near the beach with his old friend, Ray- another sort of turtle altogether. He remembers his struggles to emerge from his sandy nest, including a lucky escape from a seagull's beak. When he finally made into the ocean Sammy drifted for years, encountering oil tankers and hippies, plastic bags, piranhas and a cat called Fluffy. Most of all remembers his search for a mythical passage and his Soul Mate, Shelly. The underwater world is stunningly recreated in Ben Stassen's 3D feature with coral gardens and deep blue drop offs.
