Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair

The annual Craft & Quilt Fair is back in Sydney for 2013.  A one stop destination for craft and quilting enthusiasts offering craft supplies, displays and inspiring exhibitions, workshops, guest artists and live demonstrations!

This year's Craft & Quilt Fair offers guests the chance to shop for all the latest craft supplies, as well as the opportunity to take part in FREE workshops, exclusive Make & Take classes and our NEW Pop Up classes.
A special guest of this year's show, travelling all the way from the US is Jane Dávila who will be showcasing her stunning mixed-media pieces of art, and demonstrating her stitching techniques to the Sydney audience. Also in attendance will be Meredith Scott, a Sydney local who has created mosaic sculptures, art and jewellery using glass, bone china and other recycled materials – all inspired by her Northern Beaches surroundings.

If fashion is your thing, the display of vintage and antique clothing dating back to the 1700s from Cavalcade of Fashion is a showstopper. You can also take the chance to create your own unique Dairing necklace – a perfect project for those with no craft experience and one the kids will enjoy!

Other highlights this year include Texstyle, a display showcasing the unique fabric based design projects from the best 2012 Textile and Design NSW HSC students, and for fans of quilting, the Sydney Quilt Show display is not to be missed - with 580 quilts on show.

The Craft & Quilt Fair will truly inspire presenting new ideas and projects, a chance to learn and interact with industry professionals or the opportunity to shop the latest supplies. Discounts are available on group bookings for the event with a minimum of ten guests.
