With over 80,000 tickets sold in 2010, Sydney Comedy Festival has fast become one of the highlights of Sydney's cultural calendar. Running from 11 April till 7 May, the 2011 Festival promises it's most exciting and diverse program yet, with everything from stand up, cabaret, musical comedy and an expanded kids program.

After a 12 month sabbatical, Danny Bhoy and UK comedian Stephen K Amos return to the festival and are joined by last year's Irish sensations Tommy Tiernan and Jason Byrne. 2011 also sees the debut at the festival of American legend Greg Proops, UK ventriloquist Nina Conti, YouTube superstars Gabriel Iglesias and Bo Burnham from the USA, and Ardal O'Hanlon, best known for his role on the globally successful TV Show Father Ted.
