With the Cricket World Cup only weeks away and the MCG set to host a number of other major sporting events, including State of Origin rugby league and the International Champions Cup, the National Sports Museum provides the perfect place for kids to embrace what lies ahead for 2015!
AFL Victoria pre-season clinic
January 12-16 (11.00am-2.00pm daily)
Kids will be able to imagine what it's like to be an AFL footballer during the off season. There will be a number of different activities focused on what footballers need to do to prepare their bodies for the upcoming season. Prizes will be up for grabs!
Takes place inside the Gate 3 foyer and within the museum.
Learn to bowl!
January 22 and 23 (11.00am-3.00pm)
Bowls Australia experts will be teaching the tricks of the trade to kids keen to learn the basic skills of lawn bowls. The activity will be set up inside Gate 3, near the NSM cloaking desk.
Bank of Melbourne Trivia Trail
January 19-23 (10.00am-4.00pm daily)
Kids can test their attention to detail in the NSM and go in the draw to win a prize. The trail will commence at the Bank of Melbourne desk inside Gate 3.
Cricket fever!

Kids can put their cricket skills to the test when they meet and challenge an elite cricketer in the interactive Game On area! There is also a new family cricket audio tour to try and win a prize!
