Now in it's 6th electrifying year, the annual filmfest@falls is a unique, three-day event that spans the Queen's Birthday Weekend (5-7 June, 2009) amidst the beautiful scenery of Falls Creek. The Festival, which is hosted by Falls Creek Alpine Resort Management, also marks the launch of the ski season in Falls Creek with an apres ski opening night celebration and concludes with the sixth, annual Snow Dome Awards.

Known as the 'filmmakers festival' and founded by the event's long-standing Director, Sally Hussey, filmfest@falls celebrates the quality and creative integrity of the Australian film industry, by showcasing the industry's newest talent alongside a vibrant mix of landmark retrospectives, screenings and cultural programs.

Fireside chats with industry luminaries, provide an intimate forum for emerging cinematic artists to introduce their work to key industry decision makers.
