A combination of sun, music and sport - what better way to reign in 2013 than by taking part in a volleyball tournament on St Kilda Beach?

SLAM Festival returns to St Kilda this summer, an amateur beach volleyball competition that tours some of the best beaches in Australia. Now in its 13th year, the festival has become the largest volleyball event in the southern hemisphere and a big hit on the summer calendar.

The festival is on Saturday 19 January 2013 at St Kilda Beach, followed by a concert on South Beach Reserve that is welcome to all. The volleyball competition begins with 3 games per team within the round robin knock out to determine the 3 divisions - The Cup, The Plate and the Bowl.

9am - 10am: Team registration (must have registered online prior to the Saturday)
11am - 3:30pm: Beach Volleyball Tournament
3pm - late: Free Concert on South Beach Reserve, next to St Kilda swimming baths
