Spice Temple Year of the Pig Feast

Spice Temple Year of the Pig Feast

Spice Temple is ushering in the Chinese New Year with a nine-course banquet of auspicious dishes, each carefully selected to symbolise good luck for the lunar year ahead.

To celebrate the Year of the Pig, Spice Temple is presenting a beautiful Chinese New Year banquet menu from Friday, 1 February to Sunday, 10 February, which is available for lunch and dinner.

Neil Perry and Spice Temple Executive Chef Andy Evans have collaborated on this special menu, which incorporates ingredients that promote health, wealth, happiness and other aspects of good fortune.

"Lucky food is the centerpiece of our Chinese New Year menu, designed to give blessings for the next year," Chef Andy says.

"The menu features pickled roma cherry tomatoes, which are egg-shaped and represent fertility; long noodles are a must-have on Chinese New Year and symbolise long life; and pippies resemble coin purses and represent fortune."

The menu costs $99 per person, with matching wines an additional $55 per person.
