Shout Out for a Stencil Artist

Albury City Council and the Stencil Art Prize have teamed up to find an emerging stencil artist to paint the construction wall on the Albury Regional Art Gallery redevelopment in May 2014.

Artist Fee is $1500
Material costs covered by Albury City Council
The Artist will run a small workshop for young Albury artists
Reimbursement for up to $600 in transport and accommodation costs

The design needs to appeal to young and old and could be loud and bright, fun and whimsical, or just something super-cool that will make people in Albury want to get their smart phones out.

The new Albury Regional Art Gallery will reopen mid 2015 after a substantial makeover. The new facility will feature permanent collection galleries showcasing the largest fine art collection in the Murray/Riverina region, 4 large contemporary galleries perfect for multimedia installation, emerging artist galleries, shop, café and workshop studios.
