Noodle Box is opening its doors for passionate foodies to give them feedback on a trial Vietnamese Pork Roll.
For a limited time only, in the Noodle Box Hawthorn and Malvern restaurants as well as the restaurants in Chirnside Park and Moonee Ponds, taste testers are needed to give their thoughts on if the roll will make it permanently on to the menu.
Marketing Manager, Renee Werner, is excited about the opportunity to let loyal guests sample her plans for enhancing the menu.
'We've never done this before, so we're full of anticipation about the outcome," she said. 'It's a valuable exercise in engaging our guests in creating our menu, and we do sincerely want to know what people think. Should this be a product we offer to all guests? At all restaurants? All the time? It's time to let our guests decide."
Vietnamese Pork Rolls, or bánh mì, are well known as a tasty hawker street-food, full of mouth-bursting lemongrass pork, fresh coriander, cucumber and pickled carrot. Eaten on the run, the roll is especially good for a quick, fresh-tasting lunch before heading back to the desk.
'At Noodle Box we pride ourselves on taking fresh, Asian-style street foods seriously," said Renee. 'We craft the tastes and flavours of some of south-east Asia's most popular dishes to the Australian palate, and now we want our guests to tell us their opinion on our Vietnamese Pork Roll."
Interested taste testers are asked to attend the Hawthorn and Malvern Noodle Box restaurants at 11am – 4pm 13th November 2014, or the Moonee Ponds and Chirnside Park restaurants at 11am – 4pm 20th November 2014.
'This is a free taste testing of our Vietnamese Pork Roll," said Renee. 'So we recommend you get in quick!"
