Registrations are now open for Screen It, the national competition for school aged filmmakers run annually by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.

This years' theme The Environment: Who Cares? provides a valuable trigger for students and teachers to investigate environmental issues while learning filmmaking techniques along the way.

This year registration is completely free and is accessible online.

The competition is open to anyone enrolled in primary or secondary education and students can enter through their school or independently. Entries can be live-action films, computer games or animations, but must incorporate the theme.

Friday 17 September - Registrations and receipt of entries close
Monday 8 November - Winners announced
Friday 3 December - Screen It 2010 Awards Ceremony
