Red Cross Pop-Up and Stay-Up Shop

A Red Cross Pop-Up shop is about to open for a nine month season at the Queen Victoria Market.

The familiar red and white Red Cross marquee that has been so popular before as a Pop-Up shop is returning to the Queen Victoria Market and will stay open until July next year.

The -Pop-Up and Stay-Up Shop' will be re-stocked every week with carefully selected high quality on trend, new and pre-loved clothing from Red Cross shops all around Melbourne.

Red Cross Shops Community Engagement Manager, Kate Dear says pop-up shops are a great way for students, teachers and city workers to rediscover the Red Cross brand.

'We also need a big team of volunteers. No experience is necessary as all our volunteers will be trained in stock preparation, merchandising, customer service and cash handling. Everyone will be new so it is a great opportunity to meet friends and learn the retail ropes together."

Red Cross bargain hunters can turn the latest frocks and tops into a phone call to check on an elderly person living alone, a hot meal for a young homeless person, or clean drinking water for someone affected by a disaster.
