Pulling is a new six-part UK comedy about the trials and tribulations of relationships and singledom.
Donna is going to marry Karl. Or is she?
On her hens night, as she watches her friend Louise stage dive into a crowded dance floor and her friend Karen recreate the Bacardi ad on the club bar, Donna realises with absolute drunken clarity that single girls have more fun. In this state of inebriation she declares the wedding off. What she doesnt see is Louise nursing two broken finger-tips and Karen desperately begging her random shag for something more than one night. Donna confronts Karl the next day and tells him she doesnt want to marry him, knowing that hell be reasonable. He responds by begging Donna not to leave him, and running into the kitchen wall. The news that the wedding is off is disastrously announced at Donna and Karls pre-wedding luncheon, presided over by Karls intimidating mother and attended by their closest family and friends. Thoroughly humiliated and with nowhere else to go, Donna turns up at Karen and Louises with everything she owns in bin-bags, and Karen clears out the windowless dump room for her. And so, Donnas new life begins.
