Use your love of lipstick to get behind Liptember and show your support for women's mental health issues during the month of September.
Liptember aims to start a conversation about women's health issues and raises much needed funds for national research and support programs. So why not brighten up your pout to really get everyone talking!
Get into your local Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist, My Beauty Spot or Fernwood Fitness to get your official Liptember lipstick and encourage friends and family to get involved, by sponsoring you and donating towards the cause.
Why not get everyone you know involved? You could even run a competition in the workplace to see who can raise the most money! If coloured lips aren't your thing, you can still jump on the Liptember website to make a donation. All funds raised are donated to Lifeline and the Centre for Women's Mental Health.
With a great range of bright colours across the full spectrum of the rainbow to choose from, it's a quirky and effective way to bring public attention to a significant issue.
Common issues affecting Women's Mental Health include new parenting, anxiety, depression and relationship troubles. Other forms of psychological disorder can also trigger mental health problems in women.
Last year Liptember raised over $400,000 and with Lydia Lassila, Jo Silvagni, Sophie Faulkner and Molly Meldrum on board to support the cause, Liptember are hoping to smash those figures out of the water this year!
Don't forget to get active on social media with your colourful Liptember lipstick colours and hashtag your selfie: #liptember
