Pink lends her strength to Breast Cancer

Pink joins forces with the Pink Lady bringing two hotpinks together in support of breast cancerPop sensation P!nk has stepped up in support of Australians affected by breastcancer.

In what is a major coup for Breast Cancer Network Australia the star and the largerthan life inflatable Pink Lady, the symbol of the BCNA and women living with breastcancer, joined forces backstage for a photo shoot. P!nk stood proudly with the PinkLady to highlight the importance of support for all those affected by the disease.P!nk's personal show of support provides a powerful boost not only to womenliving with breast cancer, but to all those affected when someone close to themis diagnosed with the disease.

"A breast cancer diagnosis is traumatic not only for the woman herself, but also forher immediate family, and circle of friends." said Breast Cancer Network Australia'sCEO Lyn Swinburne. "Seeing a huge star like P!nk demonstrate her care andconcern for women with breast cancer means an enormous amount. P!nk's show of support co-incides with a major milestone for BCNA's flagshipMy Journey Kit, which has now been sent to more than 40,000 Australianwomen diagnosed with breast cancer since it was launched in 2004.

The My Journey Kit is an invaluable resource pack which provides information andpractical advice for women diagnosed with early breast cancer. It is provided free ofcharge following a breast cancer diagnosis by calling 1 300 78 55 62 or atwww.bcna.org.au
