Join executive chef Alessandro Pavoni at his popular restaurant Ormeggio at The Spit; to celebrate the food of his region-Brescia, Italy on Thursday 1 July (7pm). The dinner explores dishes using one of the region's favourite meats - game, and kick starts the first in a series of Italian wine dinners Ormeggio are rolling out over the year.

Vic's Meat CEO Anthony Puharich will join Pavoni and Ormeggio's sommelier Scott Benvau, to showcase venison, rabbit, hare and partridge in Pavoni's classic Brescian style. The five course feast, including delicious canapes and dessert; is matched perfectly with fine wines from leading Italian wine merchant, Lario International, ($125pp).

Pavoni which means Peacock in Italian is mad about game and the opportunities it offers Australian taste buds.
