The Bayside Grand Hall will be transformed into a traditional 'souq' or market place, so that families can wander through and relish in the sights and sounds of Omani culture and even taste traditional treats like coffee, dates and halawa, just like they would on holidays.

Along the way they can take part in interactive activities such as sandcastle building competitions, apply temporary henna tattoos, dress up in traditional Omani outfits for a photo and watch while a script writer creates a personalised traditional script to take home.
