Neuroblastoma Run 2 Cure

Neuroblastoma Run 2 Cure is an event aimed at families, incorporating a fun run, children's activities and fundraising for children with cancer.

The event includes a 10km, 5km and 1km fun run. The 1km run is for families and children to celebrate the day's achievements.

  • 7:30am: 10km run
  • 9:00am: 5km run
  • 10:30am: -Little Heroes' 1km run

The Little Heroes 1km is an easy fun 1km walk around The Domain. The focus is little children helping little children as neuroblastoma is tragically a little children's cancer with the average age janegazzo_s.jpgof diagnosis just being 2 years old. It is for children aged 5 and under with siblings and parents – prams are very welcome.

The theme this year is superheroes. There will be a few prizes for the best costumes!

Other activities available on the day include jumping castles, face painting, pony rides, kindy farms, craft tents, as well as Little Kickers and Little Rugby areas and an inflatable cricket area set up by Cricket NSW.

The Neuroblastoma Fun Run was launched last year, with 600 participants and an incredible $50,000 raised. It is a great event for the whole family to participate in!

All funds raised from Neuroblastoma Run 2 Cure will go directly to neuroblastoma research funding at Children's Cancer Institute.

The Neuroblastoma Run 2 Cure is organised by Neuroblastoma Australia, a committee of passionate parents who have teamed up to raise funds for research into improved treatments, and ultimately a cure, for neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma almost exclusively strikes infants and children. It is the third most common type of childhood cancer, after leukaemia and brain tumours.
