To celebrate National Psychology Week, 8 - 14 November 2009, psychologists throughout Australia will showcase how psychology can make a positive difference to the quality of people's lives.
The theme 'Think well. Be well', is about feeling good, having a healthy self esteem, positive family, social and work relationships, being fit and healthy and having a balanced lifestyle.
As part of National Psychology Week, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) will launch the results of a national research survey and host a range of member events nationwide.
This year's survey, 'Coping with the economic crisis', will reveal the economic, social and psychological impact of the current economic downturn.
