Mounties Christmas

Mounties is counting down to Christmas in style this festive season, putting on a range of events including a Christmas carnival, Christmas carols and much more.

Mounties members can enjoy entertainment for the whole family, including a puppet show, rides and a special appearance from Santa at this year's Mounties Christmas carnival. Kids can even take home some of the carnival experience in a show bag. There are two opportunities to enjoy the carnival: Saturday 19 December and Sunday 20 December.

The free Mounties Christmas Carols event held at the Mounties Oval is a great place for families to get together and sing along to their favourite Christmas tunes. The line up this year is bigger and better than ever with acts from The Robertson Brothers and the winner of Mounties Got Talent 2015, Sophie Bridget Dalisay. Despicable Me stars, the Minions will also be making an appearance. Bring along a picnic blanket and share the special night under the stars.

There are opportunities to snag a ham, turkey, or a hamper in the raffle that will be held on Sunday 20 December. Tickets will be on sale from 2.30pm, with the winners announced at 3.30pm.

Kevin Ingram, Mounties Group President, said: 'We encourage everyone to come along to the activities we have on offer for the festive season. With the big man himself making an appearance at multiple locations, it will sure get kids into the Christmas joy.

'Our traditional Christmas Carol event is a great way for families and friends to share seasonal spirit with a great line up of acts, including the Jingle Bellies performing some Christmas classics," Mr Ingram said.
