One of the largest queer film festivals in the world, the MQFF screens challenging and entertaining queer-themed films at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and Greater Union over 11 days in mad March. From international hits of the festival circuit to a strong program of Australian films - queer is celebrated and explored in all its forms.
Special international guests this year include; Wayne Mack, producer of the documentary Kink Crusaders about the annual Mr Leather competition in the US; plus there's Jesse Archer, director of the short film Half Share and star of the film Going Down in LA LA Land which is based on the laugh-out-loud novel by Andy Zeffer; US director Devin Kordt-Thomas will be here with his short film My Night With Andrew Cunanan which is based on the Versace murderer; and writer/producer Glenn Gaylord brings us the closing night film Leave it on the Floor.
