Marshes D.U.M.B.

Marshes D.U.M.B.

With two triple j supported singles under her belt, Sydney electronic-pop musician MARSHES returns with her most sensitive work to date. Her new single 'D.U.M.B' released now, see MARSHES channelling her more vulnerable side of songwriting and vocal delivery with emotive lyrics such as "I get scared you don't know me at all like you think you do". The song was co-written and produced by long time musical partner Xavier Dunn

Commenting on the meaning behind her new single, MARSHES says, "D.U.M.B. is when you lose your ability to articulate yourself around someone you have feelings for. Often when you're scared to say what's on your mind, it either never seems to come out right or you end up trying to hide the truth by overcompensating and acting the opposite of what you feel."

MARSHES debut single 'M.I.A' garnered airplay support on triple j's 2019 program with Richard Kingsmill, Home and Hosed, the track was added to Unearthed and Sydney metro station, The Edge 96.1FM.

Her follow up single 'C.B.F' was given plenty of love on triple j's Home & Hosed and unearthed, and last month MARSHES featured on POOLCLVB's version of the Bag Raiders classic 'Shooting Stars'. Her bubbly personality has also led to recently hosting Australian Music Is Bloody Great Community Radio Program.

Over the past two years, MARSHES has toured nationally across the country Dj'ing at Groovin' The Moo, Field Day, Home Nightclub, Spring Racing Carnivals and even supporting Hugh Jackman's on his national show tour in 2019.
