Married To Rock
Leather, lace and rock 'n' roll collide head-on with marriage, kids and careers in the new E! series 'Married to Rock.' The series gives viewers an inside look at the fast-paced, high-profile and always entertaining lifestyles of three women who are married to rock stars and one who is hoping to join their ranks. 'Married to Rock' features Susan Holmes McKagan, who has been married to Duff McKagan of Guns-N-Roses since 1999; Etty Farrell, who met husband Perry Farrell while auditioning to be a back-up dancer for Jane's Addiction during a tour in 1997; Josie Stevens, a model who eloped with legendary rock guitarist Steve Stevens after eight years of dating; and AJ Celi, who has been in a relationship with guitarist Billy Duffy of The Cult for the past three years and is ready to take the plunge. From raucous road schedules and outrageous groupies to creative endeavors and quiet date nights, these four friends who share a common bond must find ways to juggle family life, careers and sometimes their own wild side all while living in the spotlight with their rock 'n' roll men. Produced by Bunim-Murray Productions, 'Married to Rock' premieres Tuesday, November 16 at 10:00pm AEST only on E!
'So many women have a fantasy about landing a rock star,' said Lisa Berger, Executive Vice President, Entertainment Programming for E! 'We're raising the curtain on the rock 'n roll lifestyle and showing there's more to it than the late night partying, ravaged hotel rooms and jet set life we've all read about. But of course there's all of that too!'
'Married to Rock' chronicles the friendships, families and career endeavors of four dynamic friends who are veterans of the real rock scene. The season kicks off with the smart, decisive and always-on-top-of-it Etty (Perry Farrell's wife) who is working hard on organising Lollapalooza, the rock fest started by her husband. Etty is 'the boss' in her marriage but often finds herself taking on too much and she gets frustrated by usually having to be the one in charge, managing her husband both personally and professionally, handling the kids and trying to further her own artistic career. But that doesn't stop her from getting involved in as many projects as possible, including weighing in on Josie's dream wedding when she and husband Steve Stevens decide to re-tie the knot at the majestic Hollywood Castle. Josie is a buxom model and makeup artist who marches to the beat of her own drum and has a very distinct idea of what she wants her vow renewals to look like. When Etty urges her to plan something more conservative, sparks fly between the two. When the dust settles and the big day arrives, the whole event turns out to be more outrageous and romantic than anyone could have imagined.
Meanwhile all the wedding preparation weighs on AJ (Billy Duffy's girlfriend), a VIP director at one of the hottest clubs in Hollywood. She's ready to rock a ring and doesn't hide her impatience at Billy's reluctance to go down the aisle. The pressure to take the next step in their relationship reaches a boiling point for this previously tightly-knit pair, causing each one to question the relationship. Supermodel Susan (Duff McKagan's wife) aims for perfection in her marriage, her family life and her modeling career. She puts her ability to have it all to the test this season as she struggles to get a new collection for her swimwear line ready in time to launch.
For these four friends, life is not all work and no play as Josie invites AJ to come along with her and Steve on the Billy Idol tour bus. However, the band quickly questions whether they need a woman's touch in the moveable man cave. And later this season, Etty and Perry face a frightening situation when they discover they have a stalker.
Don't miss the fun, head-banging drama when 'Married to Rock' premieres Tuesday, November 16 at 10:00pm AEST immediately following 'Kendra,' only on E!
