Renowned for its fabulous food and fresh produce, the Original Eumundi Markets is taking their foodie passion a step further with the launch of Market Chef next Wednesday 4 May.

The 2011 Market Chef competition will take place on Wednesdays throughout Terms 2 and 3, with two teams battling it out each week, and culminating with a Grand Final on 24 August.

Schools in the running for the title of Market Chef 2011 are Immanuel Lutheran College; Peregian Beach College; St Theresa's Catholic College; Burnside State High School; Maroochydore State High School; Sunshine Beach High School and St Andrews Anglican College.
