Makeup Free Me

Makeup Free Me is asking Australian women if they can face  24 hours without makeup (think Movember but for ladies!). On Friday 30 August, Makeup Free Me is encouraging Aussie women to take on the challenge of going without makeup for one day and get their family and friends to sponsor them.

Makeup Free Me, is a recently established charity movement that seeks to empower Aussie women to develop and nurture positive body image.

Only 4% of women think of themselves as beautiful and we don't think that's right.

So by asking women to step out in confidence and go makeup free for a mere 24 hours, Makeup Free Me is telling the world that beauty is more than just skin deep.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of makeup but by going makeup free for a day, we hope to promote positive body image.

The funds raised from the 30th of August will go to supporting the Butterfly Foundation and specifically, programs and services that tap into body image issues and help those suffering from it.
