The April school holiday program features:
Balloon eggs and egg games
Create a colourful, squeezable balloon egg and use it to compete in M.A.D.E's Easter egg games. The competitions, such as egg and spoon races, egg rolling and egg tapping are based on traditions from the olden-days and are sure to be loads of fun.
Easter Origami
In M.A.D.E's school holiday craft room, learn to turn a paper square into 3D standing Easter bunny. A few quick folds and children will have a new paper pet to take home.
Easter Storytime *
Relax on M.A.D.E's giant cushions and beanbags to listen to the adventures of -The Smallest Bilby' written by award-winning author Nette Hilton. The story has been adapted to appear on M.A.D.E's big, digital screen so everybody gets a great view.
Discovery Worksheet
M.A.D.E's challenging Easter themed discovery worksheet, will have children scratching their heads as they hunt to find the egg markers hidden throughout the exhibition. After finding the eggs and decoding the clues, children will learn the unusual ways people celebrate Easter across the globe.
* Storytime is at 11am and 2pm daily.
