Australian film and television star, Louis Mandylor returns to the big screen reprising his role as Nick Portokalos in the third installment of the Academy Award-nominated, box office smash hit comedy MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 3, hitting theaters nationwide on September 8th 2023.

Mandylor has been working non-stop this past year, both in front of and behind the camera and welcomed his first child with wife Kristina Petrova. His latest projects led him to direct the film 3 DAYS IN MALAY which Paramount+ will release this September, as well as OPERATION BLOOD HUNT, opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) also slated for release later this year.

   

The third installment in the beloved "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" produced by Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and Gary Goetzman will be directed by and star Nia Vardalos alongside John Corbett, Louis Mandylor, Andrea Martin, Joey Fatone and Lainie Kazan. The film will open just over 20 years after My Big Fat Greek Wedding grossed $368.7 Million at the worldwide box office establishing it as the top-grossing romantic-comedy of all time at the North American box office, as well as one of the most successful indie titles of all time.

 

While working for years in Hollywood, his career began to rise once again with his work opposite Scott Adkins in THE DEBT COLLECTOR films a few years ago, which led to work on RAMBO: LAST BLOOD, HELL HATH NO FURY, MEMORY opposite Liam Neeson and BATTLE FOR SAIPAN, in which Mandylor did all his own stunt work. Up next, he also has the film HELLHOUND. In all of the films Mandylor directs, he also puts pen to paper and storyboards every single shot on all of his films and he has a book of all of these storyboard drawings. 

 

Most recognized for his leading credits in a variety of highly acclaimed, award-winning films and television series, including the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated series "CSI: Miami," "CSI: NY" and famously played Joey's twin (Matt LeBlanc) on "Friends." 

Mandylor was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia to Greek immigrants. He was a professional soccer player and played for Heidelberg United FC in their 1988 State League championship team. During his soccer career, he was also boxing in Melbourne, which brought him to the United States originally to continue pursuing his boxing career, when he fell into acting.
