Liptember is officially launching this week and experts are calling on Australians to brighten up their pout
and use their love of lipstick to help start the conversation about women's health issues and raise muchneeded
funds for national research and support programs.
To support the cause, get into your local Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist or My Beauty Spot to buy your
official Liptember lipstick and encourage friends and family to get involved, by sponsoring you and
donating towards the cause.
Many common issues affect Women's Mental Health including new parenting, anxiety, and depression and
relationship troubles. Other forms of psychological disorder can also trigger mental health problems in
women.
Why not get everyone you know involved? Run a competition in the workplace or challenge your friends to
see who can raise the most money! If coloured lips aren't your thing, you can still jump on the Liptember
website to make a donation. All funds raised are donated to the Centre for Women's Mental Health and
Lifeline.
Get everyone talking and choose from a great range of bright colours across the full spectrum of the
rainbow, it's a quirky and effective way to bring public attention to a significant issue.
Last year Liptember raised over $800,000 and with Chrissie Swan, Jo Silvagni, Rhiannon Fish and Molly
Meldrum on board to support the cause, Liptember are hoping to smash those figures out of the water this
year!
