Laura Ault

Actress, Writer, Singer-Songwriter Laura Ault is determined to make this year the most productive yet. On the heels of her latest project and comedy, "About My Father" alongside acting legend and eight-time Academy Award nominee, Robert De Niro (slated for release in 2024.) Laura is the breakout star in her first leading role in the thriller, "Malicious Mind Games" (out now on Lifetime Movie Club).

Showing no signs of slowing down, Laura will next be seen in a recurring role on the new Apple TV+ Series "Bad Monkey" alongside Vince Vaughn and as Jo Schirra in "The Right Stuff." Now streaming all episodes on Disney+.

Growing up in Dallas, TX Laura wanted to be a vet or a horse jockey, but unfortunately developed pet dander allergies so her next endeavor came in the form of piano lessons. She started playing around with the keys outside of practice and discovered that creating her own melodies came as second nature.

In college, her love for all things theatre intensified. She began studying vocal technique and acting for television as well as the stage and after graduating with her associate degree (2000) she moved to NYC in to train and pursue a career in Musical Theatre. 

She left the big apple for the beaches of Miami in 2011 to start a family and a new chapter but is grateful to still live out her dreams. Laura is also writing a musical comedy short film and a full-length Romantic Comedy. The modern-day wonder woman loves to stay busy as a Zumba/Aerobics instructor, with songwriting, running, swimming, gardening, and motivating her two daughters. An advocate and supporter of mental health and breast cancer awareness Laura is also very involved with her church.
