Laugh Your Pants Off at The Star in 2016

Sydney's premier entertainment destination, The Star will bring the laughs in the New Year with a massive comedy showcase, Laugh Your Pants Off.

Following the success of Laugh Your Pants Off at The Star Entertainment Group's Jupiters Gold Coast, some of Australia's best comedians will converge on The Star Event Centre for the debut Sydney event on Sunday, 24 January 2016 at 7.30pm.

The Star, Managing Director, Greg Hawkins said: 'We are delighted to welcome the phenomenally funny Laugh Your Pants Off series to The Star Event Centre for a night of jam packed entertainment that is sure to surprise and delight Sydney comedy fans."

The hilarious evening of live comedy will be hosted by internationally applauded comedian Lindsay Webb in an intimate setting and will showcase some of the country's best acts on one stage, for one night only.

Webb will be joined by much-loved veteran comedian Denise Scott, the hilariously witty Lawrence Mooney from ABC2's Dirty Laundry Live, award-winning Sammy J from ABC1's Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane, funny man and Mark 'Chopper' Read impersonator Heath Franklin, award-winning British comedian Jeff Green, comedy festival regular and Footy Show favourite Mick Meredith, and one of Australia's busiest comedians and Fat Pizza star Tahir.
