This film is based on a story by Harry Saltzman, and stars Katharine Hepburn as a Russian pilot who on a whim, flies to the American section of Berlin.
There she meets Bob Hope's character, a major in the Army whose job it is to convert her to Western ideals. But she has other ideas and tries to convert him to Communism.

When Hope succeeds in changing her mind by taking her to London and wining and dining her, the Russians retaliate by kidnapping her and taking her back to Moscow, where they plan to do her in. When Hope tries to rescue her off the plane, both are taken to Russia and are destined to be executed.
