Johnny Carter Law of Attraction Interview
Johnny Carter a former high school dropout, is a self-made multimillionaire by the age of 37 and boasts several businesses globally from online investment companies to health and wellbeing retail distribution chains – he is one of Australia's leading entrepreneurs. Johnny has dedicated the last five years to studying the human brain, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), quantum physics, and Science of Mind training. And is now in a position to impart some of his knowledge about what has worked for him and his learnings, to help others intuitively allure what they want in business and life to achieve success and fulfilment wholly.
He is the founder of Lifestyle Advantage – an intuitive business and life guidance consultancy, based on the 'Law of Attraction' philosophy – we attract what we think. Psychologists, New Age thinkers, religious leaders and even Oprah Winfrey and Hugh Jackman have been talking about this philosophy for years, and Johnny is a big believer and example that when you apply this thinking to business and life and listen to your intuition, then you can pave a pathway for professional and personal fulfilment.
Question: What is the Law of Attraction?
Johnny Carter: In a nutshell, the Law of Attraction is magnetising to us who we are. Everything is energy, so depending on what vibration we are running at is what we attract. By focusing on positive thoughts we can attract positive results.
Question: Can you talk us through the psychology behind the Law of Attraction?
Johnny Carter: The psychology is really based around your mindset and your belief and faith in the ability of how the Law of Attraction works. That is, you believe in something that is unforeseen that actually works. Basically, if you don't have the faith or the belief that the Law of Attraction works, you will neither recognise its value nor see it in action. It's your subconscious mind that really holds the key.
Question: How does the Law of Attraction pave a pathway for personal fulfilment?
Johnny Carter: When you actually see the Law of Attraction work for you and you get the revelation or the value of it working in your own personal life, that leads to fulfilment because you've made that first leap of faith and you start seeing it work. Mind you, a lot of this takes practice, it doesn't happen overnight. It's taking valuable, faithful steps in the right direction, then believing that what you attract is what you think. Really visualise and give colour to the sorts of things you want to create and attract in your life and believe that what you want, wants you.
Question: How can the Law of Attraction help us to find and keep our soul mate this Valentine's Day?
Johnny Carter: Write down a list of specific qualities you would like in your soul mate or partner. In doing so, you are programming your subconscious mind to attract that very thing. It's not about striving, it's really about arriving. It's also about detaching yourself from the outcome so that you can allow that special someone to come into your life. If you already have a date lined up for Valentine's Day, instead of being anxious or apprehensive, picture your ideal self in your date scenario. Really visualise yourself being strong, confident, bold and honest, plus asking the right questions. By doing so, you will create it. It's all about imagination and visualisation.
Question: Can you please provide your top tips for attracting love this Valentine's Day?
Johnny Carter: 1. Be positively clear about what you want in a partner and know that what you truly want, wants you.
2. Let go and surrender to having some fun. Live like you are already in it. Do an activity where you could potentially meet someone with a mutual interest.
3. Don't have too much expectation.
4. Truly believe that it will happen and allow the energy to transpire exactly how it is meant to.
5. Valentine's Day is all about celebrating love, so keep it relative and specific. Even if you are single, fill yourself with self-love and express more love to those around you. The universe is big on flow.
Question: What tools are needed in a relationship to ensure it is not loaded with unreal expectations?
Johnny Carter: Surrender your expectation or your generalisation of how the relationship should be. After all, every relationship is a mirror and every relationship is for healing. Just let it flourish as it's meant to. At the end of the day, always turn inward. If there are challenges in your relationship, do a self-analysis or an internal self-check first, before analysing your partner or projecting guilt or negativity in their direction.
Question: How have you used the Law of Attraction in your own life?
Johnny Carter: I have used it in all areas of my life and it has worked wonderfully for me. By creating a positive mindset, being clear about what I want, creating affirmations, meditating and doing mantras daily, plus always having the uncanny ability to step out with faith and into the unknown, have all contributed to my success and prosperity. Even with regards to my fiancée, let's just say it's when you aren't looking that you meet the right person. I am a big believer in destiny and I trust that the universe will provide that very thing in due season.
Question: How else can we use the Law of Attraction in our own lives?
Johnny Carter: Start practising. While reading books and listening to various things is good, there is a massive difference between education and application. There's a point where you actually have to start applying these things to recognise the value. Self-mastery doesn't just come by reading millions of books. You must take action.
Question: How can we use this to benefit, professionally?
Johnny Carter: If it's wealth you want to create, the same principles apply. Imagine in your mind's eye what you would like to manifest. The subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what we want to create and what we don't want. You need to fine-tune your subconscious to what you want to do, rather than leave it vacant, full of self-doubt or what you don't want. It's there to serve you, so start reprogramming it for the things you would like in your life. Create a vision board, start writing a journal of all the things you would like to attract, do mantras and meditation. Sometimes these things don't show up straight away, but know and trust that they will.
Question: Can you tell us about Lifestyle Advantage?
Johnny Carter: Lifestyle Advantage is an intuitive business and life coaching consultancy that combines the Law of Attraction with action. It actually came about after I commissioned some new research with CoreData Research Australia in 2013. It found that the greatest barrier to people's personal and professional success is limited belief thinking because of the fear of failure. Drawing on my understanding of how using the Law of Attraction philosophy manifested what I wanted in business and in life, I now assist people with achieving their own success.
Question: Do you have a website? What is featured on this website?
Johnny Carter: Absolutely, it's
www.johnnycarter.com.au. There are some terrific things on it to get your mindset tracking in the right direction. Aside from outlining my mentoring, coaching and speaking services, it has my free-to-view 30-minute DVD on -The Law of Attraction in Business', downloadable tips on how to manifest various positive things in your life, the 10 most interesting facts from last year's CoreData Research Australia survey, my blog, which includes a link to the highly effective Triple Mantra, plus a bit more about my journey.
