Golden Guitar nominated
Jason Lee has released
'Whiskey Kinda Night', his newest single off his forthcoming album set for release in 2021. Speaking of the single,
Lee says, "
It's that point in a breakup that you realise it's really over. When you look back at all the effort and love you put into the relationship, realising that they didn't want the same."
Recorded at
Hillbilly Hut Studios with
Simon Johnson, and produced by
Johnson and
Lee,
'Whiskey Kinda Night' follows the success of his previous single,
'She's In It', which peaked at
No. 43 on
The Music Network Country Hot 50 airplay charts, and received airplay nationally on many stations including
ABC Country,
Kix Country,
Australian Country Radio and
98.9 FM.
Lee's influences stem from the likes of
Merle Haggard, Slim Dusty, George Jones through to
Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and
Jason Aldean, all of which can be sensed when listening to the country singer perform his latest body of work.
With a successful career spanning over 15 years, he's picked up awards for
Best Male Artist, Song of the Year and
Heritage Song of the Year, along with being nominated for
New Oz Artist of the Year, and has also had a number of songs appear in
Top 10 charts around the country.
He's won a legion of loyal fans having played at many of Australia's biggest Country Music festivals including

With a new album set for release next year,
