With nearly 2 years since their last release Brisbane hard rock band Japunga have finally completed their eagerly awaited 2nd album titled 'Souls Conflicting'.
With a renewed outlook and direction, Japunga recorded their album, which features the single 'Suddenly' at Modern Music studios (The Butterfly Effect, The Red Paintings), creating a new soundscape combining their heavy roots with a more melodic and riff-laden outlook.
Over the last four years, Japunga have cut their teeth on the live scene, playing some of the biggest shows in Australia including The Big Day Out (JJJ essential stage), Crusty Demons and Metal for the Brain and have supported Sepultura, Slipknot, Machinehead, The Butterfly Effect, Jerk, Shihad, 28 Days, Cog, Hatebreed and many more.
Souls Conflicting is the follow-up to the band's highly successful debut album "Light At Days End" which spent more than ten weeks in the AIR top ten and achieved national radio airplay.
