Junior naturalist workshop week: 20-24 July 2009
Kids can become junior naturalists for a week at the Australian National Maritime Museum and discover the hidden secrets of natural science.
They will work with artists from Circus Solarus to create a massive ship-sculpture to 'sail' around the museum while learning more about Charles Darwin's five year voyage of discovery on board the Beagle.
The workshop will run from 9.30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday and is recommended for children aged 8 to 12 years and.

These hour-long activity sessions are also based on the museum's major exhibition Charles Darwin - Voyages and ideas that shook the world and will see children try their hand at watercolour painting while tracking Darwin''s voyage around the world.
The hourly sessions will run daily during the school holidays between 10 am and 4 pm. Recommended for children aged 5-12 years.
