With Adelaide's Queen's Theatre as a spectacular backdrop, Pride Models is bringing decadence back with an unforgettable fashion event titled "Let Them Eat Cake" on December 5th, 2008.

This glamorous affair will be featuring an exclusive fashion parade previewing designs of special guest, Leigh Buchanan from Australia's 'Project Runway', who will also attend the event. Also on show will be collections especially created in the theme of "Let Them Eat Cake" and Marie Antoinette by Little Potty Red Shoes and Porcelain by Damian Porcaro.

Guests to this "one of a kind" event can expect to be treated to experiences synonymous with 18th Century European Royalty, delivered with a modern twist. French champagne will flow and cake delicacies abundant to tempt the Marie Antoinette in all who attend.

Entertainment by Niki Vasilakis, one of the most exciting violinists to have emerged from Australia in recent years, will add to the atmosphere, as she captivates guests with her velvet tones, similar to those played for the Australian Prime Minister at a State Dinner, Performances at the Rockefeller Centre New York for the Anzac day memorial, UN head quarters New York, Washington Cathedral, and Athens Olympic Torch Celebrations Sydney Opera House.

In addition to the Bourgeoisie tickets, which will gain fashionistas entry to this indulgent affair, High Court tickets will also be available for purchase. Similar to the division between classes in 18th Century France, the High Court will be treated as Royalty, in a special, seated arena that will be offering a more elite experience for guests.

One thousand guests are expected, and $10 from every ticket sold will go directly to The National Breast Cancer Foundation to aid in research and support.

Pride Models Director, Christabel Buder, says that, "To date, no event of this calibre has been seen or experienced in Adelaide. This really is the fashion event to rival those in the eastern states."

"Adelaide can prepare itself for the fashion extravaganza of the year; a night of glamour, decadence and luxury."
