With International Wheelchair Day approaching on Friday March 1st, Variety - the Children's Charity is urging Australians to give a thought and possibly some spare change to assist their efforts to fund a child's wheelchair which can cost from $3,000 to over $30,000.

Given that many of the estimated 15% of the Australian population who are physically disabled are reliant on wheelchairs for mobility, Variety focuses their efforts on providing disabled children with a set of wheels.
