INSIGHT: Sexual Harassment

Sydney surgeon Dr Gabrielle McMullin caused uproar recently when she said sexual harassment in hospitals is so rife that young trainees would be better off giving in to requests for sex than risk their careers by making a complaint.

This week Insight hears from women across a broad range of professional sectors about their experiences of being harassed at work and from a man who's been fired for harassing women.

According to a national phone survey, the majority of people who experience sexual harassment do not report it. Hear the lengths people are going to in order to avoid making an official complaint.
