A new exhibition paying tribute to The Little Black Dress will be opening next month as part of The Melbourne Fair (www.themelbournefair.com.au) at Caulfield Racecourse (24 November – 27 November 2016). With dresses from 1930 onwards from Chanel, Balenciaga, Hubert de Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier and some of the best 50s designers like Ceil Chapman, Marilyn Monroe's favourite designer, you can now buy a fashionable piece of history.
Unlike any other event in Australia, The Melbourne Fair will bring together over 30 dealers exhibiting their collections, where exhibitors can expect to find rare and collectable items ranging from a Vintage Chanel purse to a dining suit or a unique piece of wall art which can't be found anywhere else.
