iHeartRadio Little Rockers Red Nose Disco

Luna Park Sydney is gearing up to host hundreds of pre-schoolers and their families for a lively, fun-filled morning at the iHeartRadio Little Rockers Red Nose Disco on Thursday June 16 at 10.30am.

As a celebration ahead of Red Nose Day, which takes place on June 24, this public event will bring awareness and raise funds for the work of SIDS and Kids in sudden and unexpected death in infancy.

Tickets are FREE with just a gold coin donation upon entry, but families must pre-register to attend at rednoseday.com.au. But hurry, as space at this highly anticipated event is strictly limited.

Hosted by KIIS 1065's Intern Pete from Sydney's #1FM's The Kyle & Jackie O Show, children will fill the dance floor, busting their moves to the disco beats from Little Rockers Radio plus bop away to live music performances from loved children's artists.

ABC Kids' Nay Nay will perform her hit song -Bubble Pop' accompanied by a huge bubble machine for a spectacle sure to widen little eyes and smiles, along with other songs from her popular debut album -Hey Hey, Let's Play!'

ABC Kids pop sensation Splashdance will perform two of the huge hits from their new album, -Get Your Splash Hands Ready', to really round out the disco dance party.

The iHeartRadio street team will greet families upon arrival with a cool drink and fun photo opportunity, and there's of course the chance to really make a difference by purchasing a red nose or other Red Nose Day merchandise, helping save little lives.

And to fuel active little ones' tummies, a special treat of delectable cake from Sydney's Sweet Mama Cakes will be sure to delight!

As announced earlier this month, iHeartRadio and Australian Radio Network have come on board as one of the Red Nose Day 2016 media partners, with their support including two dedicated Red Nose Day digital radio stations on iHeartRadio via desktop or mobile. One of these, Little Rockers Radio, is an established iHeartRadio station dedicated to kids under 5, and a key supporter of Red Nose Day. They will be switching their special Red Nose Disco programming on and providing the soundtrack for the iHeartRadio Little Rockers Red Nose Disco on June 16.

For those unable to attend the public disco events, childcare centres and primary schools around Australia are encouraged to host their very own fundraising discos on a date in June – using Little Rockers Radio (for childcare centres) and Red Nose Radio (for schools) as their soundtracks.

Proceeds from all funds raised through the iHeartRadio Little Rockers Red Nose Disco will go to SIDS and Kids' research, education and bereavement programs for sudden and unexpected deaths in infancy.

Disco events will also be held at Luna Park Melbourne and BOUNCE Tingalpa in Brisbane on the same day.
