HEINEKEN MAGNUM
Introduced for Limited Release

Sydney, June 26, 2002 - Heineken Australia announced the release of a special edition Magnum bottle, imported from Holland exclusively for promotional use over the coming months.

Available only in limited release, the Magnum is the shape of a classic champagne-style bottle complete with cork and cage seal. It contains 1.5 litres of premium Heineken lager brewed and bottled in Holland.

Heineken Australia recently used the Magnum to clebrate the announcement of Heineken's wordwide partnership of Rugby World Cup 2003, which will be held in Australia.

The Magnum follows in the footsteps of the Heineken three litre Jeroboam bottle released in previous years and, as it only available in limited quantities, is set to become a collector's item.

"The Magnum supports Heineken's premium positioning and exemplifies the brand's commitment to celebrating memorable moments with our consumers," said Marie Peters, Marketing Manager Heineken Australia.

The 2002 Heineken Magnum is available through promotional giveaways in selected bars and bottle-shops from July.
